The White Cube comprises a multi-functional arena catering for indoor sports as well as hosting official competitions. The recently constructed White Cube is also designed to meet the needs of Shiroishi’s local business with its large conventions hall for business conferences. In addition, White Cube also houses the world’s first glass concert hall complete with a giant pipe organ. State of the art acoustic devices were installed as well as comfortable, spacious seating for an audience over 600 people.
- The Concert Hall
The concert hall is unique in that its walls are constructed of see-through
glass. It has the longest resonance time in Japan, superb for pipe organ
performances. It is also used for performances of other types of music,
citizens, and lectures. Sound absorbing curtains can also be used to alter
the resonance time.
- Sporting Complex
The sports arena boasts the latest in sports facility technology with 4
complete floors suitable for basketball, volleyball and a variety of other
athletic games by using an interchangeable flooring system. It can cater
to an audience of over 2000 people.

178.4 m2
- The Arena
The arena uses the same moveable floors used by the NBA (National Basketball
Association) and rollaway seating, thus can be used also for exhibitions,
large events, and the recording of public programs.
